Bob Kelleher Speaks on America's Toxic Culture
10/21/2008 2:35 PM Tuesday Special to Liberty County Times "A major difference between Senator Max Baucus and myself is that I accept Dr. Meg Meeker's description of our current culture as a "Toxic Culture" while Mr. Baucus sees nothing wrong in accepting $ 14.000 along with a special plaque from Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest operator of abortion clinics," Bob Kelleher said he told the government class of Maureen Wicks at CJI Monday afternoon. Kelleher is running as the Republican nominee although in the past he has been active in the Democratic Party in Yellowstone County and even ran as a Green Party candidate against Baucus in the 2002 election. Kelleher claims that political party identification has little or no significance to the average voter. He says he told the students that voters are too smart to be fooled by enforceable but not in separation of powers government. Kelleher gave as an example of the failure of separation of powers government to enforce 42 U.S. Code 300a-6 which proscribes payment of Title X money to family planning groups which recommend abortion as a method of family planning. Kelleher says when he told the woman in charge of Title X money that it was illegal for Governor Mark Racicot's Department of Health to pay $ 1.6 million over 4 years to the Intermountain Planned Parenthood abortuary on north 29th St. in Billings, she replied "I've been doing it that way for twenty years and I'm going to keep on doing it".
