Bob Kelleher Speaks to High School Seniors

Plains, MT – Today Bob Kelleher and his Western Montana Campaign Manager, Bob Campbell, had an opportunity to speak to 50 high school seniors at Plains High School here in Sanders County.
  Bob stated: “Twenty-six countries have both a higher standard of living that then United States and provide better health care for their people.  In each of these 26 countries, they have a parliamentary government!”
  Talking further on the crisis in teen suicide, Bob said: “We have created a toxic culture in our society which has directly contributed to the rise in suicides of teenage girls.”  Kelleher was quoting from Dr. Meg Meeker who reported the results from a 20 year study on abuse in her book “Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters”.   He continued, “We need to eliminate sexual content and language that is demeaning or derogatory towards women from television and on the internet.”  Bob concluded “Young men need to have more respect for young women.”
